Market Extensions
Refactoring DocFactory
We refactored the DocFactory based on user feedback indicating that the previous solution was too complex and that the required SDK was too large (131 MB).
The new solution is based on the individual Aspose product families and only includes the components that are actually required. This reduces complexity and significantly decreases the size of the libraries to be integrated.
For each product family, we will provide a best practice example demonstrating how it can be used in code within Axon Ivy. In addition, each product family will include a callable sub.
We started with the best practice for Axon Ivy Words – reducing the size of the SDK download from 131 MB to 13.4 MB.
New Email Connector
The new Email Connector is designed to send and receive emails related to a specific Ivy case. All sent emails are automatically linked to their corresponding case, providing seamless tracking and management of communication within the workflow.
The Email Connector supports sending, receiving, replying, forwarding, and resending emails associated with
an Ivy case.
Improvements in Kafka Connector
The Ivy integration with Kafka has been extended to include support for a Schema Registry with Avro encoding.
Improvements in OpenAI Connector
The OpenAI connector has been enhanced so that the default model can now easily be overridden.
Spike: How to simplify market extension publishing
We received feedback that publishing new Market extensions is currently too complex. We are now developing a GitHub workflow that will significantly simplify this process.

Improved UI for monitoring
In our effort to provide greater transparency on the status of our Market extensions, we have improved the monitoring UI.

Focused Market extensions are monitored with the nightly build and are regularly upgraded to new versions. Standard Market extensions are monitored with the CI build and are updated to new versions on demand.
