FilePickupStartEventBean configuration not saving in Axon Ivy 10.0

Hi Ivy team,

I’m having trouble configuring the FilePickupStartEventBean in Axon Ivy 10.0.28 (Weissfluh)

Steps to reproduce:

Open the configuration dialog for ch.ivyteam.ivy.process.eventstart.beans.FilePickupStartEventBean.
Set all required configuration fields.
Save and close the dialog.

Expected behavior:
The configuration should persist and appear in the generated p.json.

Actual behavior:
The configuration disappears when I reopen the dialog.
The p.json file does not contain any of my settings.

Is this a known issue? Am I missing a step, or is there a workaround/fix for this?
I see from https://developer.axonivy.com/doc/6.3/release-notes that there was a reported bug:
"Issue #23236 (Bug): FilePickupStartEventBean can not handle it's configuration"

Sadly the implementation of this Bean in version 10 is a little bit confusing IMO.
If you have a look at the Bean code itself (click on the C button beside the Java Class selector), you will notice that the method saveUiDataToConfiguration only saves the config, if the given directory exists.

So I would to say as workaround, you could either:

Implement this bean by your own (just copy and make your adjustments)

Or write the p.json manually by edit the beanConfig, e.g. like the following
