After reviewing your request, we agree that the ability to identify, filter, search, and sort tasks by their associated case directly within the task list is a missing capability in the current Portal experience. We have added this to our product backlog and intend to implement it in a future release.
To set clear expectations: for performance reasons, we plan to scope the implementation to the Business Case ID and the Technical Case ID. We will not be surfacing additional case attributes such as the case name at this stage, as doing so would introduce query overhead that could negatively impact task list load times at scale.
We appreciate you taking the time to share this – feedback like yours directly shapes how we prioritize the Portal roadmap.
