Currently, the Related Task widget in Case Details does not provide the same configuration capabilities as the standard Task List widget. Options such as configurable filters and columns are not available, and there is no dedicated Portal permission to control the widget's visibility independently.
Please note that row-level actions (such as Reset, Delegate, and Destroy) already respect the same Portal permissions as the standard Task List widget. Therefore, action-level permissions are already consistent. The current limitation is the lack of configurable filters, columns, and visibility for the widget itself.
We agree that configurable filters, columns, and a dedicated permission for the Related Task widget would be valuable, and we will consider this as a feature request for a future enhancement.
For the time being, if you do not want users to see the Related Task widget, the only available option is to remove the relatedTask widget entry from the corresponding Portal.CaseDetails layout configuration (Case Details JSON).
