We have introduced an Alpine-based variant of our Docker image. It includes everything required to run the Axon Ivy Engine while using a smaller base image, reducing the overall attack surface. The Alpine variant is available with the postifx -alpine in the tag name.
In addition, we provide slim variants for both the Ubuntu- and Alpine-based images (-slim and -alpine-slim). These images exclude the demo-portal, which is typically unnecessary in production environments, as well as the bundled OpenSearch instance. Running OpenSearch in a dedicated container is considered a best practice for production deployments, making the slim variants a more lightweight and production-ready choice.
These images are available for the current and upcoming LTS 12 releases and the upcoming LTS 14 release. You already can try out or nightly builds.
