Primefaces 15
Since we have finally updated to a newer myFaces version with Jakarta (see here), we were also able to update PrimeFaces from 13 to 15.

Project Converter, which does some migrations automatically:
- Replace
layout="grid" to layout="responsive" for p:selectManyCheckbox, p:selectOneRadio and p:dataGrid
- Rename some attributes of
p:dataTable and p:menuBar
- Replace
p:inputSwitch with p:toggleSwitch
- Do various conversions on
p:fileUpload (renamed props, removed props, moved props to p:validateFile)
- Replace xhtml primefaces namespaces from
http://primefaces.org/ui to primefaces and http://primefaces.org/ui/extensions to primefaces.extensions
- FacesConverter and FacesValidator are now handled by CDI. They need to have the managed=true property and a scope
Other work needs manual work:
p:triStateCheckbox changed it's model from 0, 1 and 2 to null, true and false
💡You may can see how we did this change here- the
p:*Chart widgets were deprecated with PrimeFaces 14 and removed with PrimeFaces 15. They are replaced with one generic p:chart widget, and the Java model classes have also changed.
