aavramov Hello all, We have rest service that is hosted in Ivy and in the same time we have proxy and sso configured. How could we skip the sso login route? How could we achieve access to our rest service? Thanks, Alex
aavramov Hi Alex, Thanks for finding time to reply me back. We have rest api that is exposed and the authentication for it should be basic. And on top of that the user that we use for the basic authentication is not registered with the ID Provider that we use for the SSO. Any ideas how to solve this issue? Thanks, Aleks
Alexander Suter aavramov How does your frontend server looks like (IIS, Apache, Nginx)? How is it integrated with the Axon.ivy Engine, over AJP or URL Rewrite? I think, we need to configure the frontend server for this route.
aavramov Alexander Suter Hi Alex, We use Apache with URL rewrite. So does that mean that we have to set a rewrite rule on the path to the api? Thanks a lot, Aleks
Alexander Suter aavramov I guess you are working with a single sign-on valve on engine side? And passing the user as HTTP Header from Apache to the Axon.ivy Engine? I guess the authentication must be de done on Axon.ivy Engine Level, because Apache can not authenticate your users, right? In this case, I think, you will need to configure a rule for this path, that no SSO happen. We have a dedicated chapter for this issue for IIS: https://developer.axonivy.com/doc/8.0/engine-guide/integration/microsoft-iis.html#basic-authentication
