Elasticsearch improvements
If you use the bundled Elasticsearch server we now set pre-configure some watermark options by default.
cluster.routing.allocation.disk.watermark.flood_stage: 1gb
cluster.routing.allocation.disk.watermark.high: 2gb
cluster.routing.allocation.disk.watermark.low: 5gb
Those Elasticsearch safety settings to make sure your machine has enough space for creating indices. Before those values were the default Elasticsearch values which were also in percentages. This isn't the best for all use cases because if you have a for example 4TB drive that means Elasticsearch would set all indices to read only, if you still had 200GB space left!
Currently the data we save in Elasticsearch is pretty small so we changed the flood_stage to 1GB. To know more about those settings check out Elasticsearch documentation
We now also show those settings in Engine cockpit, in the search engine service page.
You can now also browse the documents of indices by clicking their name.
We also updated the bundled Elasticsearch to the newest bugfix version (7.17.9) and improved the documentation https://developer.axonivy.com/doc/11.1/index.html.
