Axon Ivy LTS 12 was recently released with a rich feature set—and now, here comes the next big catch! Backported to LTS 12 to make life easier for operators.
Currently, Axon Ivy supports the following identity providers:
- Microsoft Entra ID
- Microsoft Active Directory
- Novell eDirectory
But let's be honest—this list might feel a bit limited for some operators. Do you need GitHub or Google instead?
We get it. Instead of building separate integrations for every single identity provider—it's not that we can't or don't want to, but with so many priorities on our plate—we've chosen a smarter path. Starting with version 12.0.1, Axon Ivy will offer Keycloak as an additional identity provider.
Keycloak is an open-source service that allows you to manage your users and groups efficiently. Even better, it supports a wide range of identity providers, such as GitHub, Google, Microsoft Entra ID, or any LDAP-based provider and many many more. This means you can configure Keycloak to fit your unique needs, without waiting for us to build custom integrations. Does your organization have specific policies for passwords or authentication methods? No problem—Keycloak can be tailored precisely to meet your needs.
Integration with Keycloak will be available for the first time in version 12.0.1. We’re counting on your feedback if you encounter any bumps along the way. Don’t hesitate to reach out—right here in this thread.
