Thank you, that's good news!
The goal of our customer is to involve "Citizen Developers" without any coding skills (or knowledge about how data must be mapped from one process step to the next one <- requires Low Code skills) in the application design phase.
We trained our customer in using Axon Ivy Express in Version 10. The training participants identified the following problems/issues as requiring improvement:
- you as a Citizen Developer need to think about the correct naming (capitalization, ß, Umlaute, ...) of UI elements in order to avoid "broken" attribute names when extending the process in the Designer afterwards
- number of characters of labels is length-bounded
- Default escalation if a user task's deadline is exceeded: the role "Everybody" is automatically set as responsible and the priority is set to ‘high’
- When a process step is added, the time limit of the previous step is reset to the value "1"
- The order of process steps is fixed and cannot be changed (only in LI-FO principle by repeatedly deleting the last step and adding a new step).
- Preview function only works after completion (by finishing express workflow creation) and renewed editing of the respective formular in the express workflow, but NOT at initial design time
- Settings button does not work, i.e. no pop-up dialogue opens in the formular creation wizard
Please note: we didn't check whether above bugs/issues are already fixed in the latest Express version.
