1. Create your own Statistics Chart in the Portal - Leading Edge

Description:

With the new Leading Edge version, we are introducing the ability to create custom statistic widgets for the first time directly in the portal. This initial version allows users to define their own widgets with various configuration options:

Multi-language name
Multi-language description
Chart type: Bar, Line, Number, or Plot
Data source: Tasks or Cases
Widget icon
Aggregation rule
Filter: Define how to filter the data
Permissions: Control who can access the data and at what level
Refresh interval: Set how often the data should be updated
Color customization: Adjust the colors of the chart

This feature is currently in development and will be further improved in future versions. Widgets can be created directly when configuring a dashboard in the "Add New Widget" section.

Beyond the standard statistic widgets, users can now create additional, customized widgets to better fit their specific use cases.

2. Your Japanese Portal - 12 and Leading Edge

Description:

We are currently translating the entire portal into Japanese. With this update, Japanese will be introduced as an additional standard language in the portal.

The portal is now available in an additional language, making it more accessible for Japanese-speaking users.

3. Permission: Case Owner can delegate his Task - 12 and Leading Edge

Description:

We have introduced a new portal permission that allows case owners to continue delegating their tasks, even if they have already assigned them to someone else. This feature is available in 12 and Leading Edge.

Task Permissions
Configure permissions in the Engine Cockpit. In the security area, you will find all these permissions in the PortalPermissions group.

Note:
User needs permission: TaskCaseAddNote

Delegate
To be able to delegate, the user needs permission TaskDelegateDelegateAction and TaskWriteAttachUser.

To delegate personal or group tasks, the user needs permission TaskWriteAttachUserOwnTasks. This permission belongs to the PortalPermissions group. It is not assigned to the Everybody role by default.

A case owner can delegate all related tasks within their case with permission CaseOwnerTaskDelegate. This permission belongs to the PortalPermissions group.

💡 Important: Only tasks ready for user processing can be delegated. Therefore, the task state cannot be one of the following: CREATED, DONE, DESTROYED, RESUMED, FAILED.

Portal users who are also case owners.

Value:

A case owner can now delegate tasks even after previously assigning them to someone else.

4 Case Widget - Control the click behavior for Cases: Case Details V.S. Business Details - 12 and Leading Edge

Description:

We are introducing a new setting in the Case Widget that allows users to configure what happens when they click on a case. Currently, clicking a case always opens the Case Details, but some users may prefer to open the Business Case Details instead.

With this update, users can toggle between these two behaviors in the case widget settings. This follows the same approach as the Task Widget, where a similar setting (BehaviourWhenClickingOnLineInTaskList) determines whether a click starts a task or opens its details.

The new configuration provides two options:

Click opens Case Details (default).
Click opens Business Case Details.
This enhancement ensures flexibility while maintaining a consistent user experience across widgets.

Audience:

Portal users who frequently interact with the case widget and want to customize their navigation experience.

Value:

Admins gain control over how they interact with cases, choosing whether to open Case Details or Business Case Details directly. This improves efficiency and ensures a consistent experience with the existing task widget behavior.

5. Process Widget: Sort your processes by most used

Description:

We have introduced a new sorting option in the Process Widget that allows users to sort process starts based on their individual usage frequency. With this update, users can now choose to display the most frequently used processes first, making navigation more efficient.

The new sorting option "Most Used" has been added to the existing sorting settings, enabling users to prioritize processes they interact with the most.

Audience:

Portal users who frequently start processes and want quicker access to their most commonly used ones.

Value:

Users can now customize the process widget to display the most relevant processes first, reducing search time and improving workflow efficiency.

6. Bug: Portal LTS breadcrumb error

Description:

Clicking on breadcrumb in a Task > error appear in console on Web browser

Result: After applying the fix, the error no longer happens.

7. Bug: Multiple highlighting on menu

Description:

Problem: create a couple dashboards > go to any dashboard details configuration page > click back button > choose another dashboard

Result: We fixed the multiple highlighting of the menu bar.
